about us
We're a husband and wife team. We met at NIU, where Jared earned his recording arts degree, and where Claire earned her M.A. in media studies. When the COVID pandemic started, we saw a need for creative video and audio solutions and got to work. Since Seventh Street was born out of a need for creativity, flexibility, and on-the-fly problem solving, we're up for any challenge your project might present!
Jared is a musician who's been performing with and recording choirs for years. He's our sound engineer and editor. He's also a member of the multi-media team at WNIJ, our local NPR station. When he's not working, Jared loves to dote on our two beloved cats and watch Frasier or Seinfeld. Find him on Instagram.
Claire is our manager and producer. She's also a producer and in charge of engagement at WNIJ, where she's been since finishing grad school. When she's not working or organizing, Claire loves to do craft projects and listen to true crime podcasts. Find her on Instagram.
